Jim and Shannon Eves along with their daughter Ella, survived the fire at their home in the first block of West Orange Street in Lititz which started around 6 a.m., Thursday, July 25, according to the fundraiser started by their son Hunter's girlfriend, Cambrie Kagan, and an earlier release by the police.

The road closed from Broad to Spruce streets, according to a separate release by the fire department.

No one was injured in the fire, but two of the family members escaped from the home before the fire company's arrival, officials said.  Although, "they got out in time but they lost their great dane Samson, and their cat, Patch," Kagan wrote on the GoFundMe campaign page.

In addition to funds, to help the family get back on their feet, they also are looking for clothes. Click here for the details and to donate.
